You Doughnut launched two years ago when Betsy and Jo finished perfecting the ultimate doughnut dough. The trick was the yeast, and after 3 months of experimenting in the kitchen they had their eureka moment and You Doughnuts was born.
My god these are amazing doughnuts, light and fluffy on the inside and crispy and sugary on the outside. They are tricked out with delicious homemade toppings, including a seasonal fruit compote with fresh cream and delicious salted caramel, topped with chopped nuts.
The dough is freshly made every day and each order of doughnuts is cooked in front of you and served piping hot.
This is why street food is so exciting – a real passion for a product and so much loving going into the preparation. Betsy and Jo have nailed this one by refining the flavors and working up their version of a classic product.
We asked Besty and Jo what’s next for You Doughnut “Getting out onto the streets and spreading the doughnut love!” They want to take over the dessert world with their brand of sweet-cool, so watch out as they are coming to a party near you!
