As any hunter worth his wellies knows winter is the season for game meat! And although us Londoners may not have green pastures to stalk around, that doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate this wonderfully British produce in all its gamey glory. Aren’t we lucky then to have the Wild Game Co, the pop up turned food institution, serving up game in innovative and delicious ways straight from the highlands.
This winter their taking it one step further with their first stand alone pop up on Charlotte Street, set to serve all of their incredible game dishes with the same flair and passion they’ve become known for on the foodie scene.
With an ever changing menu of delectable dishes such as the Veni- Moo, a monster burger with two pattys, one beef, one venison, melted cheese, beef bacon and Wild Game Co sauce, a slow cooked venison stew and a ‘wild salad’ of squash, broccoli and venison.
And as if that’s not enough to transport you to the wild life of a kilt-clad Scotsman, the new Charlotte Street site will be decked out in dark wooden flooring, butchers hooks hanging from the ceiling and of course a few stag heads mounted on the wall. The game is on!
The Wild Game Co shall be at Charlotte Street from the 3rd of November.
