Thought up by long time foodie friends Ed Wyand and Tom Bell, VERDEN is a delicious cross between wine bar and delicatessen, decked out in stunning Scandi/Japanese inspired interiors that creates the perfect atmosphere for eating and drinking in style.

VERDEN’s classically put together boards all feature their wonderful, cold-room stored meats and cheese, and if you’re feeling a little creative then you can build your own board from their superb collection, a bit like grown up pick-n-mix! As well as this delicious holy trinity of foodie delights, the kitchen will also be cooking up soups, salads and sandwiches at lunch and three special seasonal dishes a day thought up by head chef Tom Fraser.

For your simple but sophisticated evening meal expect dishes such as suckling pig with roast potatoes and cavolo nero, skate wing with new potatoes and spinach, and tartiflette. When the weekend rolls around get your brunch on with VERDEN’s mouth watering all day breakfast inspired menu, including a hearty plate of ‘ham, eggs and potatoes’, spicy n’duja scrambled eggs and lumpfish roe with crème fresh on fluffy blinis.
