Gentlemen, start your frying pans! Tweat Ups annual Taco Wars is set to get traders battling at Hawker House at the end of this month.
Things are hotting up at Hawker House this March, as Tweat up hosts its annual Taco Wars at this awesome Street Food fortress. The battle will take place amongst 8 street food traders, all fiercely flipping tortillas in the hope of claiming the title of Britain’s best taco.
Visitors to the day will get the chance to sample each taco, including a beer battered king prawn option from last year’s winners and return competitor Luardos. They’ll be going head to head with taco expert’s Breddos Tacos, Mexico City Traders Santo Remedio, Korean fusion connoisseurs Kimchinary and many more all desperate to claim the prize.
To keep your cool whilst the competitors are working up a sweat Jose Cuervo will be serving up pints of their incredible flavoured margaritas and frozen margaritas, coming in delicious flavours such as pomegranate, blood orange and tamarind with chilli.
Hawker House will open its doors as normal at 6pm, with ticket holders to taco wars gaining free entry.
Taco wars shall be taking place at Hawker House on the 29th of March, with tickets going on sale at £35 each on March the 11th.
