The best restaurants to celebrate New Year’s Eve in London

As the end of 2015 draws to an end, make sure you see it out in style at one of London’s coolest restaurants. From a Rio themed party to Jamaican jump up and a late night Soho soirée, we have you covered.

Riding House Café 
Get down with the decades, starting with the 1950s at 6pm and working down to 2010s as the clock strikes 12 and enjoy themed food, era-evoking cocktails – like their James Bond’s 50’s Vesper and 90’s-tastic Espresso Martinis- and plenty of tunes. 

Ring in the New Year Jamaican stylie at Rudie’s Bashy and enjoy a sumptuous set menu with plenty of rum cocktails, like their Brukout cocktai, a mighty mix of the finest Appleton VX rum with Chambord, pineapple juice, lime and sugar. Tickets cost £10 and dinner £35

Duck and Waffle 
Ring in the New Year sky high above London at Duck & Waffle. Party to the sounds of ‘Speakeasy’ – a young, fresh 10-piece Prohibition-style band and DJs spinning all night. Head chef, Dan Doherty, has pulled out all the stops with a killer 5-6 course tasting menu, featuring baked Jerusalem artichokes, roast ceps with lentils and winter vegetables, slow cooked ox cheek and chocolate mousse with sticky popcorn, salted caramel and milk ice-cream. Packages start from £125 per person.

Tapas Revolution
Ring in the New Year over a Spanish feast at Tapas Revolution on Bethnal Green Road. Omar has pulled together some of his favourite tapas dishes including, gambas al ajillo (prawns cooked in a terracotta pot with olive oil and cayenne chilli) and patatas bravasand paired them with indulgent larger dishes, like his txuleton (1kg rib eye steak from Basque region 30 days aged) or mariscada (prawns, lobster, scallops and mussels). Priced at £45 per person, the meal includes seven tapas dishes, a sharing dish and cafe y licor.

Ring in the New Year with a champagne reception, followed by a four-course feast including lobster risotto, fillet of beef rossini and wild sea bass with oyster beignets and vanilla Champagne velouté. Just make sure to you don’t over do it, as the bar will be serving Balthazar’s classic cocktails alongside a DJ until 2am. Tickets cost £125.

Sushi Samba
Transport yourself to Rio de Janiero this New Year’s Eve and celebrate with Sushisamba’s Reveillion inspired party, featuring live entertainment from Rocket DJ’s and Samba dancers. Feast on a swish 6-8 course sharing menu and party until the early hours.  Packages start from £150.

Get ready to party until the early hours after a massive meal at Blanchette in Soho. Enjoy a feast of fine French fare and then stay up at the bar until 6am with guest DJ’s playing throughout the night.

Chiltern Firehouse 
Celebrate in style at the beautiful Chiltern Firehouse. Decked out in fabulous festive decorations, enjoy a feast from of crab doughnuts, bacon cornbread, steak tartare and grilled turbot with champagne butter. £125 for the first sitting or £175 on the second sitting with a glass of Krug
