If you’re going to listen to anybody about steaks it’s got to be Wolfgang Puck, the American chef sensation that can tell the difference between a sirloin and a porterhouse with his eyes closed! He first introduced his bovine expertise to the UK back in 2011 at CUT at 45 Park Lane,one of Dorchester Collection’s UK properties, and since then their steak has set London’s pickiest chins wagging.
And this summer CUT has taken it one step further, offering their exclusive steaks as part of a healthy but very much sophisticated lunchtime menu to be eaten in their rather lovely dining room that offers floor to ceiling views of Hyde Park. The simply titled ‘Steak and Salad’ menu is a light and nutritious option that’s sure to beat soggy sandwiches every time, comprised of a wonderful 28 day aged 6oz Filet Mignon steak and your choice of fresh salads.
In fact the only hard part about this limited time offer is which salad to choose! CUT has a tempting variety of salads such as romaine lettuce Caesar salad with creamy garlic vinaigrette; butter lettuce salad with soft curls of avocado, Shropshire blue cheese and Champagne herb vinaigrette and a classic Italian Burrata, prosciutto and pear compote salad with micro basil. Lunchtime has never been fancier!
The Steak and Salad menu is available Monday to Saturday until the 30th September, priced at £34 per person.
