We are very excited about the news that Skye Gyngell is opening her first solo venture Spring restaurant, this October in Somerset House.
Don’t miss your guide to the hottest new restaurant openings in London.
Focusing on seasonal produce, Spring will be joining Tom Atkins and Fernandez & Wells at Somerset House and will be the first restaurant to occupy New Wing, which opened in 1856 and has not been available to the public for over 150 years.
Featuring eight starters, eight mains and five puds, Skye’s mouth-watering menu will be serving delicious dishes like grilled langoustine with seaweed butter (£16); roasted turbot with porcini and bone marrow (£28); and a mighty fillet of beef served with brown butter, anchovy and wild greens (£29).
With 100 covers, Spring will retain all the stunning original features of Somerset House, a garden atrium and a salon that will serve ices, little sandwiches and an espresso and chocolate drink called Bicerin.
Spring restaurant will open 14th October
