Bringing a contemporary hot pot to Soho, Shuang Shuang will be using ingredients placed on a conveyor belt for you to pimp your pot.
Hot pots are a classic Chinese dish, where friends and families gather around a pot of bubbling stock or oil and dunk different ingredients into it to cook.
Take a seat and chose from five different broths, including Bird Berry made from black chicken, Mala infused with Sichuan pepper and dried chilli and Monk’s Broth flavoured with turnips and mushrooms. Then chose from a variety of ingredients whizzing around on a conveyor belt to tempt you into trying something new.
Recipes cards will nudge you into classic combinations, but Shuang Shuang is all about trying something new. Chose from crab wontons, noodles, slices of free-range pork, chicken balls and pumpkin slices, all perfect for simmering gently in your broth.
