Rising street food stars Rotli & Co are bringing spice and flavour to Clapham pub King & Co in an Indian takeover.
The culinary duo behind Indian pop up experts Rotli Crew are bringing their unique take on Asian cuisine to Clapham, in a two month residency that sees them explore sensational flavours one wouldn’t find in an ordinary curry house.
The recipes come from personal family archives, and see combinations of ingredients found in traditional Indian homes.
The menu will provide guests with a diverse selection of regional curries and Indian delicacies. Exotic small plates include Pani Puri filled with sweet potato, tamarind ketchup, and green chutney. Main courses focus on curry, including the outrageously delicious Kashmiri Mutton Curry with winter vegetables.
For pudding there’s a Chilli Chocolate Brownie with homemade cardmamom ice-cream and a Mango and Lime mousse with a nankhati biscuit.
Rotli Crew will also bring their much loved signature dishes of Jeera-fried chicken wings and Masala Cod cheeks. The interesting components and flavour combinations no doubt make for a flavour experience quite unlike the average Indian.
King & Co is located just off Clapham Common and has become a favourite in the local area. They’ve made a name for themselves by hosting various different pop ups, run by the likes of Squid Kitchen, Vinn Goute, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, and Miss P’s Barbecue.
The Rotli Crew takeover at King & Co runs from the 5th October until 29th November, running from Monday to Sunday.
