Mark the one year anniversary of the fabulous London 2012 Olympic games at Open East Festival next weekend.
To mark the one year anniversary of the London 2012 Games the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will play host to the Open East Festival on the 27th and 28th July.
The festival will have live music, yummy food and loads of family fun to mark the occasion.
We are particularly excited as The Real Food Festival will be on site to make sure you won’t go hungry. They have brought in some of London’s hottest street food traders, including Fish Dogs, Bhangra Burgers, Big Apple Hot Dogs, and Mamma’s Jerk Chicken.
The Real Food Festival have lined up Cyrus Todiwala, Steve Parle and Ben Tish of Salt Yard Group to show you a few tricks at the Real Food Chef Theatre.
We are hoping the sun will be shining over the weekend and to make sure you won’t get thirsty there will be beers from several cracking local breweries, including Meantime Brewing Company and Crate Brewery, all from within 10 miles of the park.
The Open East Festival 27/28 July – day tickets cost £9.50 for adults and under 5’s go free.
