Next year the newly restored Pulitzer Amsterdam hotel launches in February 2016, bringing a new interior design to the hotel that showcases the building’s heritage and architectural splendour.
Situated in Nine Streets, one of Amsterdam’s chicest neighborhoods, the Pulitzer Amsterdam will be bring a touch of glamour to the colourful canals.
The first half of the hotel, which will be unveiled in February, boasts 80 slick new guest rooms, with original features including wooden beams and fireplaces, as well as an eclectic mix of vintage furniture.
For those looking for more space, there will be four themed suites with private entrances; including the Antique Collector’s suite with antique furniture and objects collected both locally and globally, a large crystal bead chandelier and a wall of vintage and modern mirrors.
This follows a phased restoration of the former 45 year-old Hotel Pulitzer’s Golden Age canal houses in the heart of the Amsterdam UNESCO World Heritage canal district, where everyone from trade merchants to Dutch aristocrats have lived.
