What to See
Ceviche Old Street
Martin Morales is bringing more Peruvian food to Old Street with a new site opening in March. In his signature style, the new restaurant will feature vibrant interiors, a rocking menu and killer pisco sours.
Taking over The Hole in the Wall, with an in-house smoker and whisky bar, the new Smokehouse will be the perfect addition to the Chiswick dining scene. Although the pub is serving a small taster at the moment, it will close in January then re-launch officially a few weeks later.
Tapas Revolution Shoreditch
Omar Allibhoy is opening his 3rd site, which will also be his first stand-alone restaurant. Located on Bethnal Green road, the new restaurant will be serving up contemporary tapas, sharing plates and Spanish craft beers.
This huge restaurant from Clive Watson (The Garrison and Riding House Café) is due to open on Brushfield Street, Spitalfieds in February. Serving European brassiere food, the restaurant will also feature a garden and knock our bar.
Featuring Asian food and smoking techniques, this soon-to-be Greek Street restaurant has got us hooked already. The owners are mixing their Korean heritage with Scottish ingredients – think dishes like Loch Ryan oysters with kimchi mignonette.
Bleecker Street Burger
This luscious burger institution is opening their first permanent site in Old Spitalfields Market. With 20-30 covers expected, their new bleeckerback burger on the menu and very special launch burger in the pipline, we will see you at the doors when they open towards the end of January.
Judy Joo is going to be leading a Korean revolution in London with a new show and restaurant opening in January. With an American twist to her dishes, expect Korean tacos, fried chicken, kimchi fries and plenty of soju to drink.
Fenchurch Seafood Bar and grill
The elegant new restaurant will be serving up succulent seafood with a knock out backdrop of central London, at the new 20 Fenchurch Street building (Walkie Talkie Tower). The new site will also house the highest rooftop garden in London and a late night bar.
Duck and Rice
Soho favourite the Endurance, has been boarded up and we are now all waiting for Alan Yau to open his new Chinese Pub.
