Paradise Row in Bethnal Green is quietly becoming a secret sensation for food and booze lovers. Joining the ranks of Mother Kelly’s craft beers and The Japanese Canteen is Mission, the new bar and restaurant from the guys behind Hackney wine bar Sager + Wilde.
Mission wine bar will feature a glorious selection of wines from the west coast of America, as well as a carefully thought out selection of ‘old world’ wines. Most will be limited production, all will be quite quaffable and available by the glass or bottle, giving you a really good feel for new flavours.
To soak up all that plonk, head chef James De Jong (ex. Drapers Arms) has devised a delicious British and Mediterranean menu. Tuck into nduja arancini or crispy pig heads and feast on rabbit with polenta or spicy grilled harrisa lamb to share.
Mission wine bar and restaurant 250 Paradise Row, opens 15th September
