We’re very excited at MSK to have taken delivery of a copy of the new spice-centric cookbook from our very own John Gregory-Smith.
Master of all things spice, John Gregory-Smith has just released his second cookbook, Mighty Spice Express. John endeavoured to show the world how simple it can be to cook with spices in his first book Mighty Spice Cookbook and now he’s here to show us all how quick it can be. Taking his inspiration from street food from around the globe, John has compiled a vast collection of tantalising and speedy recipes.
The book is split into Mighty Bites, Not Quite Lunch, Midweek Lifesavers, Nice & Easy, Something Spectacular and Naughty But Nice. Each chapter and recipe is introduced with useful local knowledge John has picked up from his extensive travels, as well as beautiful local photography and interesting titbits about eating street food in Hanoi or exploring the labyrinthine souks of Morocco.
Recipes explore the full spectrum of the spice world ranging from Malaysian to Mexican via India and Morocco.
