Guilty Pleasures is the latest book from TV chef Matt Tebbutt. In his second book Matt looks at his favourite guilty pleasures, the kind of thing you can kick back and make after a hard day’s work or a busy day with the family.
Matt has combined his love of casual dining with his chef’s training, so that the recipes are creative, affordable, easy to make and delicious. He has also made the most of everyday store cupboard ingredients. The recipes feature kitchen favourites like Marmite, cream cheese, lemonade and white bread.
Guilty Pleasures is split nicely into themes, such as Sunday roasts, perfect picnics, Friday night treats and simple family suppers.
The book is easy to navigate and the recipes are delicious. Peanut and sesame toasts, pork satay, bang bang chicken salad, slow pulled pork and a mouth-watering chocolate and peanut butter layer cake!
