To celebrate Frieze Art Faire Mark Hix has asked a bunch of Britain’s hottest artists to create their own cocktails at Mark’s Bar at Hixter Bankside.
Sip on thought provoking and brilliantly boozy cocktails from artists such as Tim Noble, Pauline Amos and Gary Webb including:
The Amos Lip – Black Cow vodka, Lillet Blanc apéritif wine, orange and lemon juice, Merlet triple sec and Peychauds bitters.
Tim’s Margatita – Ocho Blanco Tequila, squid ink, lime juice and agave syrup.
The Webb Slinger – Blackberry infused Tanqueray gin, Kamm and Sons English aperitif, Kings Ginger, Campari, an Ice ball with a green olive frozen inside, served with a shot of Prosecco on the side.
Mark’s Bar is the new cocktail bar below Hixter Bankside. With a contemporary ‘New York’ design, including a sunken bar and salvaged cinema style seating, as well as a decadent menu of British ‘snax’ and cocktails that champion Brit distilleries, Mark’s bar is the perfect place for a late boozy session!
Open from 11:30am til late
