Korean food is the hot cuisine on everybody’s lips at the moment and getting in on the action is Bedroom Bar on Rivington Street in Shoreditch with their new launch pop-up Jubo.
Bedroom Bar in Shoreditch has been a venue for comedy and music for many years and now seems likely to draw a foodie crowd with a laid-back approach to Korean flavours. The small kitchen will be churning out some fantastic food to the trendy denizens of East London.
The menu takes a crowd-pleasing leaning towards to the dude food end of the spectrum with fried chicken wings, sub rolls crammed with spicy beef and cheese, steamed buns with sliced pork belly, alongside sides of spring onion salad, chips and kimchi slaw. Food comes out from the open canteen-style serving hatch fast and fresh and the atmosphere is relaxed beer bottles on the table and loud music coming in from the bar. Tables turn around swiftly making it the perfect spot to grab a quick bite with a Korean Hite beer.
