Complete with a picturesque English garden, The Ivy Chelsea Grill opens in March.
Whilst the original Ivy restaurant is closed for refurbishment, the brand is quietly taking over London. The Ivy Market Grill opened up in Covent Garden a few months ago and The Ivy Chelsea Garden is due to open in March. There is also cladding around a building on Berkeley Square, so lets see if we get an Ivy Mayfair in the next few months!
Located on the Kings Road, the new restaurant will have a massive bar, lounge, café, orangery and a terrace with a garden. Surrounded by trailing wisteria and vibrant roses, the garden will be the place to chill this summer.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Ivy Chelsea Garden will serve classic Ivy-style dishes, including yellow fin tuna carpaccio with spiced avocado and a lobster rigatoni bake.
Lighter dishes will feature heavily on the menu, like a rather sexy summer salad of shaved raw vegetables with avocado hummus and a manuka honey dressing – which I am sure will have the Sloanes beating a path straight from Boujis!
The Ivy Chelsea Garden, 197 King’s Road London SW3 5ED – opens 30 March 2015 and bookings open from March 2nd.
