Sam and Sam Clark are the founders of Moro restaurant in London. They are appearing at Wilderness festival this August and have three stunning cookbooks. 
  • What is your favourite city right now? Istanbul
  • Why do you love it? The contrast of the ancient Islamic and Ottoman city and the vibrant modern city that it is today.
  • Where do you refuel in the morning? Pando in Besiktas, a tiny tea shop great for Kaymak (Buffallo clotted cream) and honey.
  • Tell us a hidden gem? Frankie Istanbul, a rooftop bar on top of the trendy Sofa Hotel.
  • Where is the best market? Feriköy Organic Farmers Market on a Saturday.
  • Top street-food eat? Fried mackerel and pickles in bread from the boats on the golden horn.
  • Best place for a sunset drink? Mikla, it’s rooftop bar and restaurant has amazing views across the city.
  • What restaurant do you book every time? Musa Dağdeviren is an inspiration his restaurant Ciya is on the Asian side, my favourite dish is lamb cooked in yoghurt and young figs.
  • Best spot for something sweet? Gulluoglu is the best baklava shop in the world.
  • What gadget won’t you leave home without? Maps on our phone to see where we are if all else fails.
