Fabulous tapas comes to Victoria with the opening of Spanish restaurant Iberica.
The small chain of fabulous Catalan Spanish restaurants Iberica – guided by the expert hand of three Michelin starred chef Nacho Manzano – has opened a shiny new outpost in Victoria.
The restaurant will be serving its Spanish fare just moments from Victoria station. The menu features a wide array of tapas and small plates, created from the finest artisan produce. Highlights include octopus a la gallega with potatoes and pimenton de la vera, chorizo lollipops with pear aioli, and confit of cod served alongside olives and white grapes.
The cheese offering at Iberica is second to none, there’s a wide range of Spanish cheeses ranging in flavour profile from the delicate to the outright punchy. Available alongside the cheese is of course world famous Jamon Iberica, but also some unusual seafood preserves such as white tuna belly and razor clams.
The restaurant itself is in warming shades of gold and brown, split across two floors and designed by renowned architect Lázaro Rosa Violán. There’s a designated bar, and also a deli downstairs to purchase packaged up Spanish treats to take home.
We’ve loved Iberica before, and we’re sure this new outpost will carry on the mouth-watering work!
Iberica Victoria is open in the Zig Zag Building round the corner from Victoria Station, serving food from 11:30am to 11pm, 10:30pm on Sundays.
