BBQ and booze at the new Hotbox London restaurant in East London
Need a fix – check out this badass pulled pork sandwich recipe
After smoking hot residencies at Street Feast, Hawker House and Battersea Power Station, Hotbox are taking their BBQ brilliance and opening up a restaurant on Commercial Street in East London.
Inspired by the BBQ legends of the deep south, Hotbox have perfected the art of smoking and their pitmasters will be dishing out delicious delicacies like USDA prime beef short ribs, wagyu beef brisket rolls and jalapeño sausage sandwiches.
Not content with just USA, the BBQ kings will be grilling up world cuisines in their smokers like slow cooked char siu pork buns, smoked mac n’cheese, hot smoked gravlax and smoked Japanese mushrooms.
If like us you’re already salivating like a pavlov dog, get the napkins out – there’s more. Brunch will also be served – think smoked meat omelette, spicy huevos rancheros and poached egg on BBQ hashcakes – boom!!
BBQ needs booze. Fact! After you have had your fill, head downstairs to basement bar 46 & Mercy for experimental drinks and craft beers.
