For those strongly in the know on Middle Eastern cuisine Honey and Co is probably already very much engrained. This wonderful mezze centric restaurant has been serving up heaping plates of hummus and falafel to hungry Londoners with much aplomb, and now their giving you a little slice of their knowledge with their awesome new cookbook.
Named after the popular London restaurant, Honey and Co have got all you need to know about Middle Eastern food on the pages of their bright and bubbly mezze bible. And when we say mezze bible we mean it!
Basic instructions and base recipes start you on your way to becoming a fully fledged Middle Eastern food expert, before moving onto to fully loaded chapters of mezze (including every recipe under the sun for breads, grains, dips etc), salads, light dinners, ‘balls & stuff’, slow cooked, veggie, desserts and drinks.
Start a meal with a traditional Baba Ganoush, made with aubergine blackened on the stove and a stir of tangy tahini, perfect with the home made flatbreads just a few pages along. For something a little heartier the dushpra are a must try, plump little dumplings stuffed with braised lamb shank, sour cherries and fresh mint, smothered in a smooth chick pea sauce. Fiddly but fabulous!
