October has set in, soon the clocks will be going back and we are all addicted to X Factor. This can mean only one thing, Autumn has arrived. One of my favourite seasons, Autumn brings with it lovely walks, frosty mornings and delicious season fruit and veg that make the most wonderful stews and crumbles. Here we bring you our pick of all that October has to offer…

Eat… Blackberries

High in antioxidants, jam-packed with polyphenols that protect against signs of aging and fiber-rich to keep your digestion healthy, these little berries after very helpful. Try adding them to your cereal in the morning or to lovely smoothies for an instant boost to your day.

Do… Walk

Walking is totally underrated. Not only can you burn up to 200 calories an hour but you can also improve core strength and it is much less impactful on the kness than running so it is in many ways better for you. Long autumnal walks are one of life’s true joys, so get outside and enjoy the scenery.

Pamper… Massage

This really is the month to indulge. The summer glow has long gone and xmas is just far enough away that you can spend some dosh on yourself. It will help boost circulation and encourage the body to rid itself of any toxins that have made their way into your system (we blame the summer rosé).
