Forest Restaurant and Cabin Bar comes to Selfridges Rooftop.
This winter enjoy comforting classics under a starry sky at Forest Restaurant and Cabin Bar on the rooftop of Selfridges.
For the chillier months this year, Selfridges has once again teamed up with restaurateur Des McDonald to bring us woodland wonderland, reminiscent of Britain’s dark forests, on the rooftop of the department store.
Inspired by countryside foraging, the menu offers a selection of hot pots, grilled meats, fish and seasonable vegetables. Dishes include Foxes Farm pumpkin and goats cheese tart, baked game meatballs with vegetable orzo, wild deer fillet with elderberry sauce, truffled mushroom risotto, and duck Shepherd’s Pie.
The Cabin Bar will serve a variety of wintery cocktails, such as Fancy Nog – a warming mix of brandy, Frangelico, milk, cream, honey, hazelnut and nutmeg. And back for another year the Choctails, old favourites with exciting flavours, like chestnut flavoured hot chocolate and spiced banana choctails, made from banana liqueur, rum, and hot chocolate.
The Selfridges rooftop pop-ups are always heaps of fun, and this one looks like it’s going to provide a comfy spot to cosy up as the nights get colder.
Forest Restaurant and Cabin Bar opens on the 21st October, on the rooftop at Selfridges, Oxford Street.
