The master of Levantine cuisine, Ceru is popping up all over the place this autumn.
Firstly, good news for City boys: its latest temporary venue has just opened to brighten up Cannon Street for breakfast, lunch and dinner bringing sunny eastern Mediterranean cuisine to grey London skies.
Now masters of the universe can gobble up breakfast pots and pancakes before ruling the world of finance. For lunch and dinner, the signature slow roast lamb is on the menu, zingy salads, a colourful range of dips and the best pittas this side of the Parthenon.
Freshly made lemonades are on offer to slake Slickers’ thirsts, some of London’s best craft beers, Levantine wines and cocktails.
Ceru at Cannon Street will also host tasting events with artisan distillers and a Supper Club on Tuesdays, pairing food with wines from Anatolia.
For brokers too busy to frequent the latest airy Ceru interior in person, the menu will be available for takeaway and local delivery via Deliveroo.
The company’s third pop-up venue and will run until January 2016, Monday to Friday only.
But no fear, the firm is running an extra pop up every Saturday from 11-5pm in South Bermondsey with wraps and salads served alongside Partizan Brewing beers, located next door. And the Ceru crew is going Down Under too, with Sydney the next port of call.
