Mamma mia! Angela Hartnett’s new Café Murano brings a little northern Italian to Mayfair.
Just when we thought Italian food couldn’t get any better, in swoops Angela Hartnett with Café Murano, an extension on her fabulous Murano restaurant in Mayfair. The idea is simple, authentic Italian recipes, beautifully made, without the Michelin star price tag.
Head Chef and Murano veteran Sam Williams cooks up her signature northern Italian dishes. So expect sumptuous stews, delectable pasta and a good dose of Mediterranean flare.
We love the look of the fettuccine with slow cooked wild boar, and for a hearty main the sausage, sage and tomato stew. And if you’re not feeling in a sit-down-meal kind of mood, there is an awesome little bar that is the perfect place to grab a bite of antipasti on the go.
As if that wasn’t enough they’ve also got an cracking set menu – two courses for £18.50 or three for £22.50, available at lunchtime and pre/post theatre times. Bellissimo!
