A Buenos Aires hotel with a boutique character, Hotel Pulitzer is a design hotel with quirky charm.
Hotel Pulitzer is a design-led hotel set among the wide tree-lined avenues of Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Although large this is still a boutique hotel in style, with interiors designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán.
The approach when you enter the hotel is bright and contemporary mixing with the old style of Buenos Aires. Bedrooms are bright and airy with splashes of bold colour and stylish modern furniture. It is, however, in the communal areas that the Hotel Pulitzer really shines. A mix of mid-century style furniture and sparing accents of mustard yellow and royal blue, the vibe is homely yet seriously chic. The library with its block lettering adorning the walls and thick Swedish style bookcase is particularly charming.
The onsite restaurant is a canteen style affair, albeit with soft sofa-style seating and chintzy lampshades. Head to the 13th-floor and you’ll find yourself in one of the best spots in BA. The Sky Bar is a wooden deck overlooking the city set against white walls dotted with tiny potted plants, it’s a cute bar with cool cocktails. And, even better, at the weekend it’s open until 2am.
