Get ready for a tantalising Taiwanese feast as BAO London open their first restaurant in Soho
Inspired by the small eats of Taiwan, BAO London have set up a permanent home on Lexington Street in Soho, serving up their incredible stuffed steamed buns.
The cloud-like, hand-made Bao buns come stuffed with different fillings, including The Classic Bao – with braised pork, peanut powder and fermented greens, Lamb Shoulder Bao and Daikon Bao – with crumbled daikon radish, pickles and hot sauce.
Alongside the steamed buns, BAO restaurant will be serving far out snacks like tendon puffs, pigs blood cakes and lamb tongue fries, next to larger dishes of turkey and quails egg fried rice and soy marinated fried chicken.
Expect interesting cocktails, hot oolong, Taiwanese foam tea, sake and whiskeys.
